LGBTQ+ HISTORY MONTH 2026

This LGBTQ+ History Month, we're honouring Alan L. Hart and Wendy Carlos, two trans innovators who were pioneers in their respective fields of science and innovation.

Trans people play a crucial role in shaping the world we live in, but too often are their contributions overlooked, ignored, or erased.

Taking part in LGBTQ+ History Month is our way of celebrating and lifting up the many queer and trans people who came before us.

In line with this year's LGBTQ+ History Month theme of 'Science & Innovation', we’ve really focused on pushing the boundaries of modern brewing, finding unique ways to use ingredients across different stages of the brewing process, from malt blends to hopping schedules.

This is X-ray and synth.

X-ray - pale ale 4.3%

X-ray is a rich and tropical pale ale, which celebrates the pioneering work of Alan L. Hart, who developed the use of X-ray photography to detect the earliest signs of tuberculosis—work that saved countless lives directly, with a lasting impact on how infectious disease is detected and understood today.

Hopped with Nectaron and Nelson Sauvin, we've also added a unique blend of oats, wheat and maize to the malt bill for a sweet, biscuity base—think tropical cheesecake in beer form, with lashings of intense peach and juicy nectarine.

synth - ipa 6.2%

Synth is a big and bold tropical IPA, which celebrates the contributions of Wendy Carlos, a pioneering American composer and musician, whose innovative use of synths has influenced generations of musicians, and has had a lasting impact on electronic music as we know it today.

Synth follows in the footsteps of some of our best hoppy beers of 2025. Building on our thick base of malted barley, oats, and our signature Belgium wheat, we've used Mosaic and Eldorado hops to their full potential across all stages of the hopping process for a soft and luscious mouthfeel, with bags of mango and tropical character.
